I think: Attractiveness is a potential for the development of attraction and the then developing strength of attraction as a unit of measurement. Contemplating the use of social media platforms, the following behavior can be extracted:

1. a very large proportion of people uses the stage for the presentation of oneself.
 
 I extract: A certain kind of searching for a meaning of the existence of oneself and, through this, a connection- and bonding-search for a fulfilling counterpart. The emptiness that many young people currently seem to feel is a kind of atrophy resulting from loneliness and too little exchange of charges.No movement. No energy.By now in the collective. Resembling an epidemic spread.  
 
 Selfies and the direct touting of oneself as an offer for a mating (of any kind) seems like the most efficient way.For this, relentlessly everything is done to highlight one's own offer through the highest possible expenditure.
 
 The interesting thing is that for the preservation of existence, humans begin to steer themselves out of an urge/drive.
 
 "Headless" shall mean: without thinking.
 
    --> ** likewise a large topic to contemplate. When how why is the head turned off and drives turned on, and likewise the other way around.Which instincts ( a quantity-potential of aligned energy fields???)  ** <<<-- Must be contemplated more precisely.
    
    --> [The prefrontal cortex - logic and control - shuts down when the limbic system - emotion and survival - is hyperactive.Social media triggers exactly these primal areas through the dopamine reward system.It creates artificial evolutionary stress, the fear of being isolated. (Hospitalism - once again???)<--
    
    
2. a very large proportion of people uses the stage for the over-provisioning of oneself.

I extract: the continuation of the attempt of the selection of the stronger.

3. a very large proportion of people uses the stage as a marketplace for the securing and preservation of body and mind

I extract: a pronounced creativity for the creation of media, which serves as an exchange and for the preservation of the something, in order to groom the decay of the material parts and: here the spirit of evolution is hidden??? As a developing energy field with the urge for the next development thanks to connection. <-- Preservation + development = next stage of possibilities after liberation from the phase bound to matter?

Actually, one could speak of a normal course since memory of evolution. Yet.It is a pressure that develops strongly.Humans begin to select themselves with regard to the next evolutionary stage. Rapidly and intensely. Intellect against drive.The attempt of control and the development of the controllers.

A bit like in the system of 100% and of that 99.9% filler. Who cannot do self-responsibility, will be assigned. Who fights against the tendencies, will be phased out.

With weapons of intelligent manipulation.

Conclusion:

Attractiveness is an (obtrusive) potential.
When millions of people simultaneously feel the same impulse (e.g. validation through selfies), a collective energy field emerges from which the individual can rationally hardly escape.
The drive is amplified by the mass of like-minded individuals.
